01. Glitcher Damage
02. Random Shaker
South American producer Diego Mongelos returns to Audio Logic with two tech-house gems. Diego has consistently carved out a niche progressive-tech sound but retains the Latin flavor from south of the equator in all of his work.
Glitcher Damage opens up the senses with a bright synth stab effected by a spicy delay and redux. Diego keeps the energy stripped down and subdued until midway at which point he breaks it down with eerie pads. The tension rises mildly until a stutter effect h, hi, hits… and we’re back. An amazing piece of work.
Random Shaker starts with a chunky percussive swing and deep bass line. Synth hits emulate percussion and play off the low frequency bass creating and intoxicating groove. Diego takes it deep with an emotive break but keeps the energy flowing throughout and finishes strong.
Feedback:
Alex Fish (Holosound) – Good work here by Diego. I will try at least one of these at my next party. I originally thought Glitcher Damage was the standout but midway through Random Shaker I’m not so sure…. more like this please!
Ben Brown – Liking both… Glitcher damage is my favorite of the two.
Blake Jarrell – Nice proper deep tech house stuff here… my favorite release on Audio Logic this year so far!
Chloe – Random Shaker is sweet. Definitely going to play it.
Christopher Manik – Been playing Glitcher Damage for a while… went down well at one of my EU shows this summer! Cool stuff for sure!
David Call – Some great non-peak progressive to get the dancefloor started.
Joe Fisher – Amazing EP. Diego Mongelos is one of my favorites producers from South America.
Kris Barleben – Glitcher Damage, simple driving effective with big dynamics and great techy shuffle, both tracks are very cool.
Luke Porter – Glitcher Damage is my pick here.
Miss Nine – Glitcher Damage is the one!
Nick Stoynoff – Both tracks are outstanding, great groove with fantastic percussion. The break in ‘Glitcher Damage’ nearly made me want to rip my face off, wicked stuff!
RJ Pickens – Glitcher Damage for me. A nice piece of prog twisted with a tech-house edge. Will support!
Rob Passow (M.O.D.E.) – Loving both mixes – very into Diego’s sound at the moment.
Seneca – Glitcher Damage is absolutely wicked and Random Shaker has a great groove to it. One of my favorite producers as of late!
Stefan (Progressive-World.at) – Glitcher Damage is a very cool groovy tune… I really love it! Random Shaker is equally good!
