After a brief hiatus, Audio Logic Recordings is back in the saddle with a fantastic release by Ben Brown. Moonjack is quite the groover featuring pulsating bass, quick stabs and eerie strings. The track is an essential dance floor weapon.

Alex Zelenka and DJZ have kicked it up a notch with their interpretation of Moonjack. To the point, they get right down to business with incredible energy coming straight away. It’s big sound here and will definitely be a burner on the floors.

Nick Stoynoff’s remix of Moonkjack offers up a refreshing funky house mix and shows deft versatility with his production. The mix remains very groovy throughout and features some of his signature progressive sound. Nick definitely knows how to blur the line between genres.

Tolgar offers up a jaw dropping dubstep rework of Moonjack. No words to describe it but pure awesomeness.

Finally, the package concludes with Raika. Ben provides his driving groove while providing a modern take on the classic progressive sound. A great tune to end the night with.

Miguel Adrian Aguero is the newest addition to the label from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Audio Logic Recordings is proud to present his release 2 Robots – Domingo Out. Miguel’s 2 Robots moniker is responsible for massive tunes such as A.C.I.D.O. and Lushyon which has received support from numerous big names across the scene.

Domingo Out is the headlining track on the release. It opens to a subtle progressive vibe but quickly turns into a full-on floor burner halfway through with big bass. Domingo Out will surely cause a frenzy on dance floors.

Il Futuro Inizia Qui (“The Future Is Now” in Italian) is the b-side and feature a timeless chord progression and is perfect for late sets. The percussion and melody are simple and sticky but will continue to play in listeners minds well after the night has ended.

Through a hurricane of hometown hating, swift navigation is the key. In 2005, Sizemoreism took on a journey to create contemporary electronic music that could reflect the northern parts of Sweden and in the long run create a sound-scape to his imaginary spacesuit. 4 years of cutting samples, testing out kick drums and scrobbling gnarly ass electro presets he realized that less is more, brake it down to the bone gristle, kill your darlings, shape your love ones and strap it tight. You may call him a slow starter, so be it but finally in ’09 in someway you could start to visualize the distant opacity of a triangular shaped pattern in a organized wall of nothingness, blunt attempts of expressing undefined feelings. So now a jump off is set, done and fixated, the turnout is uncertain, hopefully in the near future a sign of life will appear and fuse into the high quality kettle of the musical aesthetics we in this world choose to dub as microhouse.

As eternal decay of a perfectly shaped rimshot, the rhythms are to cut loose and allowed to shift persona as they start a ethereal roll as a metallic hi-hat cluster often interpreted as musical tumbleweed along the filthy shores of the Nordic sea. Sizemoreism’s music is thriving to be a musical melting pot ranging from Phillp Glass to Foreinger with Flintheart Glomgold as the prime spectator. His Audio Logic Recordings debut is nothing short of dubby, organic deep house goodness with elements of techno to spice things up.

South American producer Diego Mongelos returns to Audio Logic with two tech-house gems. Diego has consistently carved out a niche progressive-tech sound but retains the Latin flavor from south of the equator in all of his work.

Glitcher Damage opens up the senses with a bright synth stab effected by a spicy delay and redux. Diego keeps the energy stripped down and subdued until midway at which point he breaks it down with eerie pads. The tension rises mildly until a stutter effect h, hi, hits… and we’re back. An amazing piece of work.

Random Shaker starts with a chunky percussive swing and deep bass line. Synth hits emulate percussion and play off the low frequency bass creating and intoxicating groove. Diego takes it deep with an emotive break but keeps the energy flowing throughout and finishes strong.

Alex Fish (Holosound) – Good work here by Diego. I will try at least one of these at my next party. I originally thought Glitcher Damage was the standout but midway through Random Shaker I’m not so sure…. more like this please!

Ben Brown – Liking both… Glitcher damage is my favorite of the two.

Charley “Tyler Hampton” Pugmire, formerly of The Hamptons duo, has returned to Audio Logic with an amazing production called Fenske. Funky, groovy, epic and a whole hell of a lot more adjectives can be used to describe this genre-bending masterpiece. The initial groove gets down with lots of funk and swing then comes out of no where with an epic break down chock full of emotive strings. Tyler then leads to a break beat build up and is a blast from the past as he takes it back to the original groove and finishes the track with lots of energy.

Fenske has had its share of early support with its inclusion on the Human Frequency mix compilation by D:Fuse and the wizard himself, James Zabiela, calling the breakdown in the original mix, “epic”.

After a chance meeting at the Beatport Pool Party in Miami, Jan van Lier expressed his interest in working with Audio Logic. Jan’s take on Fenske is downright hypnotizing. He unleashes a sexy groove out of the gates and leads up to infectious, lingering pads. Jan’s mix has the early support of Definitive boss John Acquaviva and will surely appeal to a wide variety of music heads.

South American newcomer Seba Rebolero offers up a dark and groovy interpretation of Fenske. Seba slowly builds the tension and fires away after the break. Seba’s mix has loads of support from south of the equator!

Nv & Noy’s debut release, Ocean Drive, caught the ears of many when it arrived on the scene. Armin Van Buuren hand picked the tune for his ASOT radio show and Solarstone spun it on his Solaris International Podcast. The biggest support came from Tiesto, whom caned the track on his european tour and included Ocean Drive on his Creamfields MixMag covermount CD for the August 2009 issue.

That kind of support for a new artist is typically unheard of. Riding that wave, Nv & Noy are back with two new original tracks that bring out the essence of summer and good times. 1999 and Ibiza feature their trademark melodic progressive sound with a fresh vibe and uplifting feel. Chris Walsh & Jeremy Coutre return to Audio Logic Recordings with a massive original 4 track EP titled A Few Bits & Bobs. Having already received early support from Dave Seaman, John Digweed and Hernan Cattaneo, Chris & Jeremy are set to make some noise in the progressive arena with this EP.

Diet Techno opens the EP with a fierce groove. The track leads to a break where an underlying bass track is filtered in and builds plenty of tension. At the peak of the build the track unloads a fury of energy that will drive dance floors crazy.

Hello Kilo is a progressive gem. Supported by John Digweed on his North American tour with Sasha in 2008, Hello Kilo has massive appeal. Chris & Jeremy have included 2 mixes in the EP; A ‘Short’ mix and ‘Tall’ mix, with the latter adding a few extra minutes when you encounter those epic dance floor moments that you just don’t want to end.

Mexicans On Sleds closes the EP as the final track. Mexicans On Sleds adds more groove and melodic elements compared to its Diet Techno & Hello Kilo counterparts, but does so with pure class.
